The Importance Of Right Now

Ever wonder why present is given so much importance as compared to the past or future? Why you’re often told to live in the moment or move on from your past experiences? Well, this is because one of the secondary motives of an average human is to gain power or be in command of the situation. One is helpless when it comes to altering his past or pre-determining his future but what one can do is exercise control over his current situations.

While doing so may sound like a piece of cake to some, it’s actually not. How can one’s consciousness possibly reside in the present always? Your mind is bound to wander off in far off places, thinking about the unknown or even the impossible! Take a simple example of meditation which emphasizes upon you focusing on a certain belief while being mentally and physically present. The moment you intend to do exactly that, the chirping of birds from outside, which often goes unnoticed, becomes a major distraction. Every existing stimulus in your environment is clearly heard and felt regardless of its intensity or consistency.

Apart from distractions, what makes living in the present difficult is the pain that is associated with your past. One tends to ruminate on his past and generalizes the outcomes onto the rest of his life. He deems himself helpless when he really does have the power to make things right. What he chooses to do today will affect his life tomorrow. If he chooses to be miserable then miserable will he stay but if he chooses to rise from the ashes and come back stronger then there’s nothing that can stop him from achieving his goals. Regrets and fears are the major hindrances that one experiences while making progress in life. Guilt has the potential to consume you silently whereas fears impose restrictions on an individual in every way possible. Individuals must be taught how to overcome such obstacles and concentrate on their present instead of being given useless, dry advice.

Being aware and existing in your present provides you with useful information which can serve as a foundation for your future decisions, information that’ll allow you to make a distinction between right and wrong, then and now, knowledge that would motivate you in behaving differently from how you did in the past; it’ll help prevent you from repeating the same mistakes again. Your present is a learning experience that enables your healing process and ensures the onset of a change in you.
Life can most certainly turn out to beautiful only if you work hard to bring about a desirable future. Start now, because if not now then when?

Chakra Healing: Let Your Energy Flow

Chakra Healing is mostly used by people to balance mental, emotional and physical health.  The universe is full of radiating energy from biggest mountains to the smallest cells in our body. The human cell radiates energy in various forms and each cell radiates different form of energy. Each and every part of the body functions uniquely and are located at different locations. The kind of energy the body emits depends upon the location of the cells and the function it performs in our body.

Chakras

Chakra is a Sanskrit word which means wheel. The energy of the chakra moves in a clockwise direction, it moves the energy of the body out into the fields around us and rotates counterclockwise to pull energy from the external world into the body. The Chakras mostly starts from the bottom level of the spinal cord and at the level of coccyx bone and then travels forward up to the spinal cord to reach the topmost part of the body, such as the head.

RECONCILE YOUR WOUNDS WITH HEALING

Humans are the only creatures to be addressed as human “beings”, as we are the only species that have norms of how to be and how not to be.  We know that we have six senses and unlike other animals we are the only species that could think.  Thinking is as disastrous as much as it is beneficial.  No dog or cat is gonna sit and cry over backstabbing or split ups in relationships or vulgar words that pierce the heart so deep. We live with our heart and mind more than our body.

We love with all our hearts and that’s why they hold scars much more than our bodiesdo.  These scars are mostly etched by our near and dear ones whom we love and trust which make it so deep that they cause pain rather than healing like any other scar that happens on your body physically.  When you get hurt mentally, the wound becomes more complicated to heal as there are no chemical drugs that can make that pain vanish.  Healing of a wound in heart is different from the process of healing of a wound in body. Each and every person should the different types of healing processes that he should carry out when he gets hurt so that psychological complications could be avoided for a better cause.

PREVENT YOURSELF FROM GETTING HURT, STOP MUSTERBATING.

I know now you are like “wait, what?”Lol.  I am talking about musturbation (Not the other one with “A” instead of “U”). Every human who is getting hurt very often is musterbating himself without knowing it and that is the foremost cause of losing happiness.

“Musterbation” is a term coined by American psychologist Albert Ellis. He says if you have things that make you get angry, frustrated or upset you, 99% of the time you have a “must” or “ought” or “should” in your mind.   Eg: He must talk to me politely, She should be loyal to me etc… which will end up in musterbating and should-ing ourselves.  People always do what they want no matter what you think.  So Yeah be careful in choosing your must(s)…should(s)…whatsoever…  Otherwise you would end up arguing with reality which will obviously make you feel disappointed.

HEALING DEEP WOUNDS AND SCARS

Generally speaking, as much as physical health is concerned scars are sign of recovery and are considered better than bleeding wounds but psychologically scars are dreadful incidents whose pain does not cease.
Learn to be brave and to forgive and forget. Accept your mistakes instead of arguing and blaming. These make relationships stronger after a fight instead of break ups.  This might be hard but will help you live a happy and peaceful life for sure.
